Kira Reginato is the owner of Living Ideas For Elders and radio host of KSRO’s Ask the Expert - The Elder Care Show, airing Fridays from 12:30 - 1 PM. She has been a geriatric care manager for over 12 years. She has also served seniors and their families in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, residential care homes, hospices, an Alzheimer's adult day health center, and a Meals on Wheels Program.

Ms. Reginato holds a degree in Public Administration and a minor in Gerontology from San Francisco State University. She chairs the Sonoma County Section on Aging meetings and is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. She chaired the Sonoma County Section on Aging from 2005-2008 and is a member of the Petaluma Senior Care Connection. She is well versed in understanding government regulations in the industry such as Title 22 for nursing and residential care facilities along with Medicare and Medi-Cal.
